Siblings Accusing Michael Jackson of Sexual Abuse Allegations

Four of the five Cascio siblings have publicly accused late pop icon Michael Jackson of sexual abuse, speaking in detail about their experiences in a recent interview with the New York Times. Aldo, Eddie, Dominic, and Marie Nicole Cascio described a long and deeply complicated relationship with Jackson, whom they once viewed as a close family figure. Their comments come years after they filed a lawsuit against Jackson’s estate alleging abuse during their childhood.

The siblings said they were not only abused but also manipulated into defending Jackson against accusations made by others. They described themselves as having been “groomed” to protect his image, explaining that they spent years publicly denying any wrongdoing. Even after Jackson’s death in 2009, they continued to support him, including appearing on television to speak positively about their relationship with him.

According to Eddie Cascio, Jackson allegedly conditioned the children to believe they needed to stand by him whenever allegations surfaced. He claimed they were emotionally influenced over many years and taught to dismiss accusations made against the singer. The siblings said Jackson’s fame and influence made it difficult for them to question the relationship or fully understand what was happening.

The Cascio family first met Jackson through their father, who worked as a hotel manager in Manhattan during the 1980s. Over time, the relationship grew closer, and the children often visited Jackson’s ranch, Neverland Ranch. Some visits reportedly took place without their parents present.

One sibling, Frank Cascio, has not joined the lawsuit. In his 2011 memoir, he wrote positively about Jackson and denied that abuse occurred within the family. The other siblings, however, now say their understanding of the past changed over time.

Several of them explained that watching the 2019 documentary Leaving Neverland helped them reevaluate their childhood experiences. The film featured accounts from two men who alleged they were abused by Jackson as children, prompting the Cascios to reflect more deeply on their own memories and the influence Jackson held over them.
